1. About WPBA and acceptance

The World Property Business Association (WPBA), with postal address at 3, boulevard Magenta, 75010 Paris, France, operates this website and professional network. By using the website or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy and Cookie Policies. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

2. Our role

WPBA connects independent property professionals and provides directory, listing, referral, education and communication tools. WPBA is not an estate agent, broker, seller, landlord, buyer, tenant, lender, lawyer or party to a property transaction unless expressly stated in writing. Members and listed agents act independently and are responsible for their own services, advice, licences and conduct.

3. Accounts and membership

You must provide accurate, current information, protect your sign-in credentials and promptly report unauthorised access. Membership applications may be reviewed and accepted or refused. Membership benefits apply only during the paid or approved term and may be subject to eligibility, professional standards and the WPBA code of ethics.

4. Listings and professional content

Members remain responsible for the accuracy, legality, rights, availability and timely updating of profiles, photographs and property information they submit. By submitting content, you grant WPBA a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, reproduce, translate, format and display it for operating and promoting the network. You retain ownership of your content.

• Do not submit unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, infringing or malicious content.
• WPBA may edit formatting, translate, reject, hide or remove content, but is not required to monitor every submission.
• Archived, expired or removed listings may remain in secure records where legally or operationally necessary.

5. Property information and currency

Property particulars, prices, areas, availability and descriptions are supplied by independent agents or feeds and may change. Converted prices are indicative, based on available exchange rates, and are not binding quotations. Before acting, users must verify the property, title, planning, taxes, financing, exchange rates and transaction terms with suitably qualified local advisers.

6. Fees, payments and renewals

Membership terms are prepaid. Listing credits, course places, webinars and event tickets may be sold separately. Education prices and member discounts may differ by country. The price, currency, taxes, term and any renewal conditions shown at checkout apply to that purchase. Payments are handled by Stripe. Except where the offer states otherwise, a new paid term is not automatically renewed.

7. Cancellation, refunds and consumer rights

Cancellation and refund rights depend on the product, delivery date, performance already begun, purchaser status and mandatory law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Consumers should contact WPBA before purchase if they need services to begin during a statutory withdrawal period. Refund requests must be sent to the contact address below and will be assessed under the applicable offer and law.

8. Courses, webinars and events

Schedules, speakers, locations and content may change for reasonable operational reasons. WPBA may postpone or cancel an offering and will communicate the available transfer, credit or refund options. Educational material is general information and is not legal, tax, investment or transaction-specific advice.

9. Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful code, scrape at unreasonable volume or interfere with service operation.
• Do not impersonate others, harvest personal data, send unsolicited marketing or use the network for unlawful or fraudulent activity.
• WPBA may suspend or close access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the network, legal obligations or service integrity.

10. Intellectual property

The WPBA name, logo, website design, software and WPBA-created materials are protected by intellectual-property law. No rights are granted except the limited right to use the services under these Terms. Third-party names, images and listing content remain the property of their respective owners.

11. Availability, links and liability

The website is provided on an as-available basis. WPBA does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free translations, listing accuracy or transaction outcomes. External sites and services are controlled by their providers. To the extent permitted by law, WPBA is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.

12. Changes, governing law and contact

WPBA may update these Terms for legal, security or service reasons. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate. If one provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply. French law governs these Terms, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country. Competent French courts have jurisdiction unless mandatory law gives you another forum.
